Lazily uncut, extremely rambling, and smudgey

So I’m planning to do some longer videos soon for Paid Subscribers, and decided to make a test video!

Anyway, here is my test video I did of me attempting to talk, and draw at the same time. SO HARD!

In it, I am drawing over rough sketches for the sequel to Papa’s Magical Water-Jug Clock. As I am currently neck deep in the final art for that wonderful libro.

Here is the chunky pencil I talk about in my video. I’ve been using them for a few years now, and just LOVE them.

Also, I talk a little about not torturing yourself as an artist, and using the computer to assist you in getting art done faster. I’m EXTREMELY traditional, but I totally use the computer to make small fixes in my artwork as I know that will MUCH faster for me than redrawing or repainting an entire spread.
As at the end of the day, Pictures Books need to get done by a deadline for the lovely team at my publisher, and for ME!
AS I NEED SPACE FOR OTHER BOOKS.
Because, like many of us creators, I have so many ideas I want to play with.
And so little time in the grand scheme of things…
